Mahe is the main island of the Seychelles. We traveled around the island with a guide and driver for three days making sure we saw everything. The people are wonderful, friendly, well educated, and happy to show off their country. The Seychelles is extremely clean with a culture of respect for the environment. The Seychelles experience is about relaxing and quiet exploration of some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. For example, jet skis are only allowed in one small bay. This is to protect the choral reefs and reduce noise pollution. The locals speak Creole but do all their business in English and the currency is the Seychelles rupiah.
