After twelve days on the bike I developed what is called “throttle hand.” Even though the bike has a mechanical cruise control, you still needed to work the throttle on the road. I right hand eventually quit on me. I couldn’t zip my pants, button a shirt, or eat with a fork. I eventually had to resort to eating with my left hand. When I got home, it took a week or so of massage and acupuncture to come back to life. I couldn’t play piano for two weeks.
