The Cassiar Highway is the most isolated road in British Columbia and one of the most beautiful. The road stretched 550 miles and anyone who has traveled the roads through Canada all say travel this one if you have the chance. The road was spectacular. Very few vehicles and I was alone with the road for a couple of days. The meandering highway was in great condition and I could kick on the cruise control at 75 mph and surf the mountains and valleys leaning back on my bags and steering with one hand for hours. These two days were on the Cassiar were two of the most Zen days of the trip. Not a single thought was in my mind except for the hum of the bike and the call of the road.
Start of the Cassiar Highway.
Mile after mile of Zen road.
