Where In The World Is Scott

1450-Museo de Oro – Colombia

Every South and Latin American country that traces their history to the Mayans, Aztecs, and Incas, has a history of producing precious objects for their royalty out of pure gold. Of course Colombia has one and of which they are very proud. The Museo de Oro in downtown Bogota is a beautiful and very functional museum. Hundreds of locals were in the museum viewing the golden objects from their country’s past. I felt like a aded American museumite after visiting other museums of gold around the world We did the museum in about twenty minutes. Don’t get me wrong, this is a wonderful museum, it just wasn’t for us.
