Where In The World Is Scott

909-Portland, OR

A few weeks ago I had an unexpected layover in Portland, OR. Portland has a great public transportation system so I headed out from the airport at 11:00 AM for a few hours downtown. Not knowing anything about Portland I got off the train in the downtown area when I saw a lot of people. This is a montage of photos from four hours on a Saturday during the summer in Portland, OR. This makes me want to go back and do it again. This is what I experienced.

909-Portland3I fell into the Portland Saturday Market.

909-Portland30Love a good one-man-band.

Three blocks in another direction this guy was belting out metal tunes. He wasn’t too bad. I liked his rig.

909-Portland18Singing every bad French torch song you can imagine.

909-Portland17Across the street from the Bastille Day was this.

909-Portland5This was the whitest Doors tribute band I have ever heard. This was like Neal Diamond singing Riders on the Storm.

909-Portland4Yo – break dancers.

909-Portland2Never saw so much tie dyed clothes since the sixties.

Jerry Garcia has returned from the dead as a sidewalk Elvis.
