1208-Anakena Beach – Easter Island, Chile

Anakena Beach is one of few sandy beaches on the island. Most of the island is volcanic clips battered by the violent seas. This patch of sand is on the opposite side of the island where thirty foot waved beat the cliffs (see later post on rough seas). The water was warm and inviting and of course, Janine had to go swimming as I took photos.
