Along with the small sample of birds the park had a separate open-air feeding station for hummingbirds. Unless you have special gear, lighting, and a tripod, photographing hummingbirds is a challenge. By the time your camera focusses, the bird is gone. So with depth-of-field and a particular shutter speeds you end up with a lot of photos of the feeder. It’s was only by luck that any of the hummingbirds were in focus or had any shop action.
