Rode from Pemberton to Quesnel which is really close to Prince George. Tomorrow I make the left turn and god towards the west coast and Alaska. The first two hours were on a two-lane very narrow twisty turny road with hairpin 15 degree up and down reduced radius turns. The road went through extreme valleys with the road perched on the edge looking down several thousand feet into the river below. That’s all well and good, but as you can see from the photos, at this altitude, there was still snow on the peaks and it was freezing. At least it wasn’t raining too. Two hours in, I came out of the mountains and rode for six more hours on the valley floor viewing lake after lake, river after river, surrounded by farming and grazing lands.
Getting farther along each day.

Lake after beautiful lake.
Still snow and very cold.
From the valley floor.
