1363-Bugs, BC

I have forgotten how large and ferocious the mosquitoes are in the north. Check out the size of this critter I killed in the bathroom. They swarm you by the hundreds and you have to spray up. Workers at this lodge wear full jackets and safari hat bug netting when outside.

This swallowtail butterfly apparently wanted to be taken home with me. Out on the road he dived at the bike and got snagged on the oil cooler radiator. I tucked him away in a flat location and will bring him home.
