Medellin, Colombia with a population of over 2.1 million, is a city on the way up. After the devastating narcotics wars ended twelve year ago, new future-minded politicians have repositioned the city as a safe, beautiful, and fun place to visit. We spent two days in Medellin and would stay longer in a future trip. We did not get our fill of Medellin. We experienced upscale eateries, community art exhibits, high fashion, wonderful food, and a safe and fun vibe from the locals.
