This bike trip began at the Mexican border in Mexicali. I wanted to ride from Mexico to as far north as you can go – Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. The photo is of the border wall separating the United States and Mexico.
Did a Ninja run from SoCal to Phoenix early in the morning trying to beat the desert heat. Didn’t quite make it. Desert heat topped 100 from Blythe on. 30-40 MPH winds all day. Bike cruised at 85 MPH trying not to get blown off the road. Made a left turn at Phoenix and blew into Sedona. 500 miles on the first day.
