Watson Lake is the first city in the Yukon at the end of the Cassier Highway (Route 37). The Alaska Highway (Route 1) runs through it and it is the east west route across this portion of Canada. I was excited to reach the Yukon and begin my travels in another direction. From here the route will take me north and west to Skafgway and then ferry ride to Haines and then north into Alaska.
