My son Chris and I went on an all-day glacier hike on the Kennecott Glacier at McCarthy, AK. It just happened that we were the only ones on this tour so we had our own private guide – Kate. We hiked a couple hours into the glacier to the big stuff – 1,000 foot deep crevasses, ice caverns, water falls, ice flows, huge ice valleys and mountains and little did we know – dangerous conditions. Check out our journey.
