One of the best things of road trippin’ with no schedule is seeing something interesting and going for it. As we were heading to San Antonio, TX, we saw a sign for some caverns. And as you know, you can’t keep boys out of caverns. The caverns were a good small local set of caves. Since we were going to the Carlsbad Caverns on our way, this was just an appetizer. For their size, there caves were quite interesting. They were underground river water formed and thus had unique formations compared with other types of cave formations. If you are into caves and are every by San Antonio, TX, they are worth checking out.
